in the mail today

I had to find a card to send to my grandmother (in-law). She has at least 15 wedding anniversaries to remember every year, and we always get a card. Well I just wanted to thank her for being sweet as pie. I thought I'd have trouble finding a card that she would appreciate but this card from Compendium was perfect! I love a good quote and inside it says "you made my day", perfect!

i love color & these make me happy

These look like summer! I love the bright color that can make your summer delicacies even more fun. I saw these and they put a smile on my face. I stumbled across these on poppytalk, they are from Minneapolis artist, Araya Jensen. See them at wind & willow home.

love, love these!

I love my gadgets but I want them to look cool too, I can't help it. If I'm gonna carry this thing around every second of every day, I have to really, really like it. Well I think these are practical, fun and simply the coolest cases I've seen. They are an investment but they'll protect your favorite toys and look great doing it. These amazing works of art, recycled skateboards and protectors of all things important to us are from a small Portland company, Grove. Check them out and give them some love.

in the mail today

I don't do it enough but I love picking them out and sending cards. Here's a great housewarming card from Ohio based letterpress greeting card company, oddball press. So cute, I had to send it off to my cousin right away.

Send a card today, really (it's fun).

something adorable

I stumbled upon the lovely blog lottie loves. She has an insightful interview with Arkansas illustrator, Stacy of Gingiber. I thought these illustrations were so unique. They aren't your typical kid wall art. I love the texture and color that bring her art to life.

it's always the right time for candles

Take a look at these brilliantly bright new designs from illume. Rest assured they will smell great with scents like gardenia, thai lilly and tangerine teakwood. What I love about these is the patterns are all different but will still look great together for a pop of bright colors.

etsy love today

I stumbled across this from a friend via etsy fresh shops. The olive wood mixed with this lovely turquoise colored Eilat stone makes for one damn cool bracelet that I for one would love to own. It is a beautiful piece of art from an Israeli artist, Arthur Kemelman, of AFK designs.

stationery love: a.favorite design

Check out some of the new and colorful brilliance of a.favorite design! These designs are hot off the press for next season. The newbies include the always fun ticket cards, there is now "mom's favorite" to indulge in some healthy sibling rivalry (this may be my brother's birthday card for the rest of my life), the tootsie pop inspired birthday, the classy and type inspired "you rule", and the fun neon series that will make anyone's day. These are some great cards to have on hand because I think they can suit anyone but their still unique and a little different. You can always see the line on the a.favorite design website or through etsy.

herb envy

I stumbled across these herb markers and both of them make me want an overflowing herb garden. The legs are a fun surprise and the silverware is a great way to showcase the beautiful vintage silverware. So sweet and fun to pull out every year when it's
time for some green in your life!
