This past weekend I got to experience Chicago's Solider Field from the field at the American Beer Classic. The event was so much fun to wander around choice beers and stumble into a Lakeview gem like Keelan Rogue. Among a plethora of beer tents we found this plaid and vintage pennant filled wonderland. Keelan Rogue re-purposes vintage ties, plaid & pennants to create stylish art. His line is unique, affordable, beautifully curated, impeccably made & the perfect gift. Shop here.

a lovely lil' lady
Another flea market find, this beautiful lil' head vase. I call her Zelda. Isn't she she a gem? I love her pearl necklace & earrings paired with her deep green ensemble. She is a vase, I am going to fill her with some vintage hat pins. There is so much detail, I can't believe that back in the day these were sold at the five-and-dime stores!

the thrill of the find
Thanks to my partner in crime/flea market mentor I found some great stuff. A girl can never have too many purses or boxes! 2 carpet bags, a green trunk, an apple crate & wood cheese boxes found at a Chicago Estate sale. Hmm, what else will find me?

frye on the mind
If ever you buy a pair of Frye shoes, trust me they are worth every penny. They are beautiful leather, handcrafted, and tough. This company has been around since 1863! I love that, check out some Frye's-they are always cool.

lovin' present & correct
Present & Correct has great stationery, vintage finds and a distinct style all their own. The founders are graphic designers and you can see it from beginning to end with their product line; the photos are bright, thought out and make for a very dynamic site. Everything on the site has a theme that will take you back to your school days and make you want graph paper, a protractor & a chunky eraser...
